I know that some folks are upset that they can't get the 110 ltr carbonators, but you can! You have to order them through the Sodastream site[@]And if you check the prices, they are comparable (you exchange 2 60 ltr chargers for $26, and for the 110s, it's $44, but they're almost twice as big). It was great, until they changed the size of the the soda bottle. Same price, but half the size. Not an economical product anymore. We love using it and use our own juice or other flavors instead of the ones they sell. Their syrups are too surgery and expensive. We prefer using the Turany syrup, juice or just the soda water with lime.

We bought our machine two months ago and we loved it. But the company has since changed hands and now everything is different. They are discontinuing the 110 liter carbonators. They will let you purchase them, and they are still in the starter kits, but when you exchange them you will get 60 liter carbonators for the same price as the 110 liters. This makes the price more than twice what they say it is, which we found to be already very exaggerated. We still love our machine, but we will be finding a workaround to using their carbonators. I wouldn't buy this machine again. Next time I will find something that doesn't use proprietary carbonators and bottles.[...]

I purchase this product for the boat. We were spending $30 plus dollars a weekend on pop and ice which took up lots of room in the cooler. We purchased our Soda Maker 4 months ago and absolutely love it. I purchased 2 extra bottles. The 4 bottles allow me to make the soda at home and take it along. The soda maker is best used with ice cold water.

Love this little device. A friend had a similar version and had to get it. I typically don't like sodas and don't like juices because they are all sooooo sweet. With this I can make a refreshing spritzer that's just to my liking. Not too sweet with bubbles. I recommend it. May give these as gifts to friends and family.
